The Project
Impressions from the project process
With a height of 415 m, the Trump International Hotel and Tower on the Chicago River is a very impressive skyscraper.
The floor plan for this impressive building complex tapers gradually in four steps as it rises majestically in the air: at heights of 65 m, 121 m, 201 m and 338 m.
During the construction of the massive reinforced concrete columns, ACS platforms also served as anti-fall protection at the slab edges.
For the support construction of the lower floors, 16,900 MULTIPROP 16,900 aluminium props and 2,600 PEP steel props were used at the same time.
The RCS climbing protection panel secured site personnel against falling at all times and also provided reliable protection against strong winds at great heights.
The massive reinforced concrete columns on the north and south sides were quickly realized with the ACS self-climbing system and VARIO wall formwork - and without a crane.
The Chicago skyline is dominated by the 415 m high Trump International Hotel & Tower.
