The Project
Impressions from the project process
The challenging building form called for flexibly adaptable formwork and scaffolding systems.
Next to the office suite of the Federal Chancellor, there are cabinet rooms, the offices of the Ministers of State and civil servants as well as reception rooms, all included in one complete complex.
The PD 8 shoring tower with a high level of stability has been designed for great heights and heavy loads.
Erecting the irregularly shaped tables at great heights required the highest level of accuracy during the preliminary work.
Numerous geometrical dimensions often reached great heights and had to be mastered.
A bird´s eye view of the new government headquarters on the River Spree in Berlin.
