Impressions from the project process
For extending the cement plant, engineers from PERI Ukraine designed a comprehensive and sophisticated formwork and scaffolding solution.
A safe climbing formwork solution on basis of the CB climbing system and an efficient shoring concept using the PERI UP scaffold system and MULTIPROP.
Due to the non-availability of storage space, PERI supplied the formwork and scaffolding materials in close consultation with the site management.
With help of CB 240 climbing brackets externally and CB 160 internally along with VARIO girder wall formwork, the 43 metre-high silo was formed in 4-day concreting cycles.
An ideal combination and perfectly adapted: PERI UP modular scaffold and the MULTIPROP system - the two modular load-bearing systems for high loads and for use at great heights.

I am very satisfied with the comprehensive PERI formwork and scaffolding solutions, but also with the easy handling of the PERI systems that were applied. Even partly inexperienced jobsite staff can work safely and fast with it. PERI always delivered the required material on time to the jobsite, this made it possible to handle the jobsite during normal plant operation.
