Impressions from the project process
The new headquarters of the environmental company Bee'ah is currently being realized according to the plans of the famous architect Zaha Hadid. The design of the futuristic building with its complex structure is based on the shape of a sand dune. (Source: www.zaha-hadid.com)
At the centre of the design concept is the 23 m long and 17 m wide dome above the entrance hall. The PERI UP Modular Scaffolding forms the supporting structure of the dome formwork.
The formwork elements for the dome were individually planned and pre-assembled. On site, the individual segments are quickly and efficiently installed.
PERI also planned and supplied the most appropriate solution for the varied, curved walls of the structure: the VARIO GT 24 Girder Wall Formwork can be perfectly adapted to accommodate the high architectural requirements.
Thanks to the well-coordinated cooperation between the entire planning and assembly teams along with the jobsite crew, an excellent architectural concrete result has been achieved in the course of the execution of the work that fully complies with the strict architectural requirements.
PERI UP not only serves as a supporting structure for the dome formwork. The modular scaffolding also provides access to various assembly areas as well as safe workspaces in all areas.
The project-specific planned and pre-assembled formwork elements have been designed with special recesses in order to optimize the weight of the segments and reduce material usage.

Project Director (Al Futtaim Carillion)
It was important for us to appoint a formwork supplier who had a successful track record in executing complex fairfaced concrete projects. Based on their past experiences in that area, we chose PERI to be our formwork solution provider. The effective collaboration between PERI and Al Futtaim Carillion’s site team played an important role for the success of the project.
